ABOUT COFFEE BOARD
The Coffee Board of India aims to govern the countrywide industry of coffee farming, distribution, and trade. Under Coffee Act VII, the Government of India formed the ‘Coffee Board’ in 1942.
The Coffee Board of India oversees the whole coffee supply chain. It promotes R&D, technology, quality management, and coffee exports in the Indian market.
Furthermore, the Coffee Board controls coffee exports outside of the nation. Coffee export licenses and certificates of origin are issued.
THE OBJECTIVES:
- Providing economically valuable information and support to registered coffee exporters in growing and boosting coffee exports.
- Provide expert advice on quality enhancement, standards and specifications of coffee varieties and grades, and coffee innovation, among other things.
- Organize trips of delegations of its members to foreign markets to investigate overseas market prospects.
- Arrange for participation in trade shows, exhibits, and buyer-seller meetings in India and overseas.
- In addition to the foregoing, the Board administers the Government of India’s EXIM POLICY on coffee.

The validity
The Coffee Board Registration Cum Membership Certificate (RCMC) is valid for three years from the date of registration.
